Socialist Rebel Forces
Uniform:
-Civilian clothing: Jeans, flannel shirts, track suits etc. Anything that pass as 1980’s Central/Eastern European attire.
-U.S. Woodland camouflage BDU jacket or Black combat jacket: to be worn after civilians become rebels. No other military garments are to be worn by the rebels.
-Green Beret: Red star insignia, optional.
-Armband: Will be issued by event staff.
Equipment:
-Any load bearing equipment. Simple rigs are encouraged, such as ammunition pouches on a belt with a canteen/cover.
-Backpack/shoulder bag: Military or civilian.
-Hydration: Each participant should carry no less than 2 liters of water in the field.
-Map, glowstick, flashlight: each member of the U.S. platoon must have these items.
Weapons:
(all weapons should be devoid of tactical rail systems, lasers, flashlights, modern optics. If it cannot be removed, cover it to the best of your abilities.)
-Any U.S., Eastern Bloc, or foreign weapon may be used which is mentioned on either Eastern or Western forces list .
Organizational gear:
-Radio/extra batteries/back-up radio: to be carried by each Squad Leader (SL) and Assistant Squad Leader (ASL), sniper team, medics.
Garbage bag: each squad will be issued one garbage bag and is expected to police their own trash in the field.
