U.S. Platoon

U.S. (Western) Forces

Uniform:

-U.S. woodland pattern BDU uniform (jacket and pants) NO OTHER UNIFORM VARIANTS OR CAMOUFLAGE PATTERNS ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS SCENARIO.

-Black combat boots are preferred but not required.

-Woodland camouflage BDU “Patrol Cap”. Acceptable alternatives: black watch cap, black beret, Woodland “boonie” cap

Equipment:

-LC-1 (A.L.I.C.E. gear) preferred, LBV-88 assault vest. Acceptable alternatives: Woodland camouflage MOLLE vest, Green assault vest. BLACK, TAN VESTS, OR ANY DIGITAL CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED!

-Hydration: Each participant should carry no less than 2 liters of water in the field.

-Map, glowstick, flashlight: each member of the U.S. platoon must have these items.

Weapons:

(all weapons should be devoid of tactical rail systems, lasers, flashlights, modern optics. If it cannot be removed, cover it to the best of your abilities.)

-M-16, M-4 Carbine and variants: M16A1, XM-177, CAR-15. M-14:long military model preferred, wood or synthetic stocks acceptable. MP-5: limited to scouts and medics ONLY.

-Light machine guns (LMG): S.A.W., M-60, M-240 (one per squad)

-M-203, M-79 grenade launchers (one per squad)

-Sniper rifles: Snipers must apply for the position, and will be appointed by event staff.
Organizational gear:

-Radio/extra batteries/back-up radio: to be carried by each Squad Leader (SL) and Assistant Squad Leader (ASL), sniper team, medics.

Garbage bag: each squad will be issued one garbage bag and is expected to police their own trash in the field.
