    Haiduc (Eastern) Forces

    Paramilitary brigade of Kapetan Vučko

    Uniform:

    -Any Russian/Soviet, Eastern European, ComBloc camouflage acceptable.(Examples of acceptable camouflage: Russian “Flora” pattern, Serbian Oakleaf pattern, East German “Rain” pattern,Czech, Polish, etc.)

    -Unacceptable patterns are any US woodland camouflage pattern derivative (example: Russian LEZ pattern)

    -Olive Drab uniforms may be worn if above type of camouflage is unavailable.

    -Track Jackets in subdued colors (black, dark blue, dark red, etc.) may also be worn.

    -Black beret; preferred. Any type of Eastern European combat helmet, watch cap, Olive Drab Boonie hat or “Patrol style” cap.

    -Black boots are preferred but not required.

    Equipment:

    -Any Eastern European/Soviet load bearing equipment is acceptable. (Preferred load bearing equipment is a simple rig which would consist of a belt, magazine pouch, canteen, etc.)

    -Any type of Eastern European combat vest is acceptable. Tan vests are not allowed.

    -Black vests are acceptable.

    -Hydration: Each participant should bring at least 2 liters of water into the field.

    -Map, glowstick, flashlight: Each Haiduc’s must have these items!

    Weapons:

    -AK-47 or any Kalashnikov variant: AK-74, AKM, AK-74S, “Krinkov”, ect.

    -G3 or variant,G-33

    -Mp-5

    -Support Weapons: RPK, PRD, PKM, MG-42,GP-30

    -“Captured” Western forces support weapons: M-60, S.A.W., M-240, M-79,etc.

    -Sniper rifles: Snipers must apply for the position, and will be appointed by event staff.

    Organizational gear:

    -Radio/extra batteries/back-up radio: to be carried by each Squad Leader (SL) and Assistant Squad Leader (ASL), sniper team, medics.

    -Garbage bag: each squad will be issued one garbage bag and is expected to police their own trash in the field.

    (Note: the number men in a squad may be changed upon participant registration in order to fit specific teams into squads. A seven man squad is simply the base for initial organization.)

    Question, ghillie suits...allowed or not allowed. I know that some ops don't allow it due to hit sensitivity, but I also wasn't sure with the uniform code, if they were allowed.

    Ghillie suits are permitted. However, before you decide if you want to use it or not, here are a few things to consider:

    1.) Snipers of Eastern European armies rarely, if ever, utilize ghillie suits for sniping. To be more accurate in your portrayal of a Haiduc, I would personally refrain from using it.

    2.) The US snipers will be using ghillie suits, this could add to some confusion on the battlefield that could possibly lead to some tragic friendly fire.

    Just curious is this the final roster? I know some people who registered aren't on there and then I noticed some people who were on there suddenly not?
